We believe,

Creativity, innovation and structured content are the key to delivering successful results.
Every individual has the capability to contribute to a positive change.

1) Content

The curriculum has been designed in-house with initial inputs from professionals in the BPO industry and later on largely from our experience of conducting 3 batches thus far.

The content encompasses 5 critical learning areas:

a) English Grammar
b) Reading
c) Listening
d) Comprehension
e) Conversation

Since the project is executed in 2 phases, content is such designed that during phase I (second year of graduation), emphasis is on grammar, comprehension and speaking while in phase II (final year of graduation) it is on discussion & interview.

The content design is based on participative approach to delivery. Unlike conventional teaching, this course is largely activity-oriented. Theory sessions are put only where absolutely necessary.

The course is concluded with sessions on CV building, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. For a batch comprising participants who have comprehension of English but are unable to speak, the course duration is ~ 80 hours.

2) Teaching

The course is conducted by volunteer trainers.  Each batch is typically of 20-22 students with similar training needs. The sessions are conducted at least 2 times a week in the presence of 2 - 3 trainers (lead trainer & co trainers) on the premises of the night colleges where these participants study.  The sessions are primarily interactive with a combination of traditional & modern teaching methods.

Since majority of our students do not often get a chance to communicate in English other than on the days when the course is conducted, we encourage them to give a call to the trainers on the remaining days and speak to them for a few minutes in English.
