Pre-Training Assessment: Before the start of any batch, every aspirant is expected to take a SCREENING TEST. The screening test is ~4 hour long comprehensive assessment and checks the competencies of the candidate in all the areas of English. The objective of this screening test is to put each test taker in relevant bands basis the performance during screening.

This Banding exercise helps in

1) Identifying individual training needs

2) Creating a batch for which the training needs are homogeneous

3) Offering a calculated estimate of the time required to take a participant from existing band to a higher band

Post & During Training Assessment: Two assessments are conducted during the program (midway & at the end). These assessments are same as the Screening test and objectively measure the improvement in the competencies of the students. 

The scores of each individual are tracked and at end of the program, we offer quantitative performance metric for each student and indicate how s/he has progressed on different areas of the subject. LeapForWord is working towards automating the entire banding process.
